Scanning Technician

Overview

TEKsystems is looking for Scanning Technicians for a 6‑month to 1‑year project in the Baton Rouge area. Candidates will travel between multiple office locations within their assigned region to support the digitization of child welfare documents. Travel is based on the location of physical files; reliable transportation is required and mileage over 1 hour or 50 miles from the home base will be reimbursed at $0.70 per mile.

The role is fully onsite and involves daily work with sensitive content.

• Experience working on a large‑scale scanning and documentation project.
• Practice in quality assurance and control.
• Handling of secure documents.
• Knowledge of transferring hard‑copy data into a digitized format.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to manage project timelines effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Smartphone for communications with the team.

Contract position based out of Baton Rouge, LA. Project duration: 6 months to 1 year. Must be local to the region.

Pay range: $18.00 per hour.
