The Business Systems Analyst – HR & Safety supports the organization’s HR and safety technology platforms by serving as the primary functional system analyst and configuration resource for business-owned systems. Reporting to Information Technology, this role partners closely with HR, Safety, and external vendors to support system implementations, ongoing optimization, and end-user support while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Essential Functions:
  • Serve as the functional business analyst for system implementations, including requirements gathering, configuration support, testing coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with IT and vendors to support data migration, system updates, and go-live readiness activities.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration records, and user reference materials.
  • Support training and change management efforts to promote effective system adoption.
  • Administer and support HR business systems, including configuration updates, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for functional system issues, user questions, and enhancement requests.
  • Support safety systems in coordination with Safety leadership, ensuring accurate data and reliable reporting.
  • Conduct audits to maintain data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance.
  • Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and periodic testing cycles.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure alignment with security, access, and change management standards.
  • Ensure appropriate data privacy and confidentiality practices are followed.
  • Supports additional systems as assigned, consistent with role scope and expertise.

Required Education, Experience, Certification and Licenses:
  • High School Diploma or GED required;
    Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience supporting or implementing HR business systems required (Workday preferred)
  • Experience working with safety or EHS systems preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with system configuration, testing, and end-user support (Workday preferred)
