Intern in Technical Services (Baton Rouge)
Turn Key Solutions, LLC (www.
TKS.LA) is a Managed Service Provider (MSP) that manages networks, phone systems & vendors for our regional business clients. If you are going to school for a career in Information Technology, Sales & Marketing, or Business, this internship offers the opportunity to earn credits and gain real‑world experience in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented IT consulting firm.
As an Intern at Turn Key Solutions, you won’t be asked to make coffee, but you will get to do pretty much everything else that our technicians, engineers, sales team, and customer service reps do on a day‑to‑day basis. You’ll experience interacting with clients, working on high‑end technical environments, basic computer work, and everything we do here. If your interests lean toward marketing or business, you’ll also get the chance to work on marketing campaigns, speak with prospects and existing customers, and learn from our sales & marketing team.
WORKENVIRONMENT
We work hard while we’re at work, but we do everything possible to get everyone home on time. Full‑time salary staff typically work 40‑hour work weeks. Intern positions are typically very flexible – we know you have classes and a crazy schedule, so we will work with you. You’ll work closely with a team of IT professionals who are skilled at what they do and expect you to raise everyone’s game to a new level.
Reliability, good teamwork & communication are huge to us, and we will do whatever it takes to help you feel comfortable, productive, and valued here.
Our office conditions are great – our tech staff enjoy their own work area with a PC, a company laptop for field work, all the coffee they can drink, and the support and respect of goal‑oriented coworkers.
COMPENSATIONHourly pay is available for some intern positions, but not all. This will depend on your qualifications, the specific intern position available at the time, and other factors.
