Manager, Endpoint Security Engineering – KPMG US
KPMG is seeking a Manager, Endpoint Security Engineering to join our Digital Nexus Technology organization. The role involves deploying, managing, and troubleshooting endpoint protection solutions and leading security initiatives across a diverse range of endpoints.
Responsibilities- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot endpoint protection solutions, including Microsoft Defender and Crowd Strike, across servers, workstations, VDI, and mobile devices.
- Administer and maintain core Microsoft security technologies, including Entra, Intune, and Microsoft Defender Security Center.
- Develop, document, and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a strong and compliant security posture.
- Create insightful dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Power
BI and Databricks to support security analysis and incident response. - Oversee the administration of security platforms such as XSOAR and Wiz Cloud, including SSO configuration, role management, and system maintenance.
- Act with integrity, professionalism and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
- Minimum five years of recent experience deploying and administering endpoint security solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
- Expert-level, hands‑on experience with Windows and Red Hat Linux operating systems, including system hardening, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Deep practical knowledge of cybersecurity principles, modern threat landscapes, and industry best practices (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001).
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority security projects and resolve complex issues in a fast‑paced operational environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in task prioritization, delegation, strategic resource planning, and fostering development of high‑performance teams; exceptional communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders across all organizational levels.
