Managing IT projects, developing and implementing technology strategies, and ensuring the security and reliability of the organization's IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the organization's overall IT strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for technological advancements and innovation to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish technology priorities and allocate resources effectively.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the IT department, ensuring reliable and secure technology services.
  • Manage IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, servers, and telecommunications systems.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary measures to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Establish and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations for team members, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop training and development programs to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of the IT team.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive IT security policies, procedures, and practices to protect the organization's data and systems from internal and external threats.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry's best practices.
  • Lead and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
  • Manage project resources, including assigning tasks, tracking progress, and resolving issues or conflicts.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Technical Skills
  • Deep knowledge of network architecture, virtualization, and modern data center operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server Management.
  • Hands-on experience with Network and Firewall Management.
  • Understanding of cabling best practices.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Agile).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Deltek, Unanet) common in engineering.
Who We Need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies, including network architecture, security protocols, cloud computing, and enterprise software solutions.
  • Solid understanding of IT security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Extensive experience in information technology management, with a proven track record of leading successful IT initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and technology road mapping.
