The Office of Technology Services aims to be a responsible partner in delivering innovative, effective, and reliable solutions that support and enhance the IT functions within Executive Branch Departments. The Office of Technology Services (OTS) will work to increase the return on the State’s investment in technology by promoting smart decision‑making, solving problems intelligently, increasing the rate of project success, and fostering a skilled and professional staff.
This manager is responsible for leading and administering the unit within the OTS by managing the process to procure technology goods, services and technology acquisitions within the OTS Office of Operations. The manager provides recommendations for statewide information technology acquisitions of the greatest complexity and obtains necessary approvals. The manager oversees lower‑level personnel engaged in information technology acquisitions with vendors. The manager receives broad direction from the IT Director for Vendor and Provider Management and other higher executive management within OTS.
The position will work directly with OTS executive management, OTS Agency Relationship Managers, the Office of State Procurement Kash and executive branch state agencies on behalf of OTS. This incumbent reports to the IT Director of Vendor Provider Management.
