About the Role: Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager to lead operations in the absence of the General Manager, assist in team leadership, and ensure service standards are consistently exceeded.

Primary Duties:
- Team Lead:
Train and guide staff, discuss performance, attend and lead staff huddles, and ensure outstanding results. - Financial:
Post checks in PMS, complete weekly labor tracker, manage payment reports, postpaid outs and receipts. - Guest Relations:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, address guest concerns, monitor feedback, and promote amenities. - Housekeeping:
Assign rooms to cleaners and assist GM in inspecting rooms. - Inventory & Vendor Management:
Manage inventory, handle property email, build vendor and guest relationships. - Sales & Marketing:
Network locally, promote property, build relationships with competitions, and lead in-house guest sales initiatives. - Teamwork:
Assist housekeeping and laundry tasks, cover shifts as needed for continuity. - Emergency Procedures:
Follow property protocols and ensure security for property and guests. - Other Duties as Assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in hotel leadership, including front desk and back-of-house operations.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong team building skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proactive in solving problems.
Physical Requirements:
- Perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, sitting, bending and twisting for long periods.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50lbs.
