  • Experience in evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to adapt treatment plans to meet the needs of diverse age populations.
Experience Requirements:
  • Clinical experience in speech-language pathology preferred.
Educational Requirements:
  • Louisiana State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology required.
Special Skill, License, and Knowledge Requirements:
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient safety standards.
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment programs.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

What You Will Do:

As a Speech Therapist, you will:

  • Complete patient assessments and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide patient and family education, including home programs and adaptive strategies.
  • Document care provided in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support comprehensive patient care and discharge planning.
  • Participate in continuing education, departmental initiatives, and staff training.
  • Contribute to performance improvement and process enhancement efforts.
