Overview

Join Gulf South Autism Center as a Full-Time ABA Pediatric Behavior Technician. You will work onsite with children on the autism spectrum in Baton Rouge and Prairieville in a supportive, energetic environment. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, contribute to transformative behavioral strategies, and collaborate with a customer-focused team. The pay range is $16.25 to $18.00 per hour.

• Work directly with clients to implement behavior intervention plans created by a supervisor.
• Teach essential skills such as communication and social interaction through one-on-one support tailored to each child’s needs.
• Follow treatment plans meticulously and contribute to the development of vital life skills.
• Collect and track data on client progress to ensure effective outcomes.

To thrive in this role, you should have a genuine passion for working with children with disabilities, and you must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and functioning effectively in a loud environment during sessions. The position requires about 30 hours per week to maintain continuity in client care. Proficiency with relevant software and tools for tracking progress and implementing behavior intervention plans is important.
