Job Details:

• Work standard procedure hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility for earlier or later procedures as needed
• Call duties divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend
• Weekend call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning
• Must respond within 30 minutes when called in during off-hours, weekends, and holidays
• Float between Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of approximately 5 patients
• Work in single-room unit performing various interventional procedures
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and Louisiana State License
• Minimum 2 years of experience required in specialty
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• Must live more than 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
• 24-hour orientation program with modules completed during orientation
• May be assigned to Emergency Team during emergency events with expectation to stay until event passes
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts
• Weekend coverage required with 7 weekend shifts per contract
• One pre-approved time off request allowed per contract
