Overview
JOB PURPOSE OR MISSION:
Responsible for day-to-day management and operation of Ambulance Services. Makes decisions that may affect the division, department and/or GHS System's financial and performance objectives and strategic results. Provides input to director/manager on budget for area. Immediately supervises employees in assigned areas, including responsibility for performance reviews, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations. Administers advanced life support care to sick or injured persons in pre-hospital settings and during transport between campuses in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and hospital policies.
Performs job duties appropriately for the age population served as defined in the department's scope of service.

- Works with management and staff on data concerning the department and their activities.
- Creates schedules, assigns and distributes work, prepares staff reports, backs up employees in call-off situations, and promotes positive customer relations.
