Our organization is committed to supporting individuals and families through evidence-based therapeutic services with a specialized focus on military-related and trauma-focused issues. Located in the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area, we strive to make a positive impact by addressing the mental health and well-being of our community members.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Psychotherapist specializing in military and trauma-focused therapeutic services. The position is located in the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group therapy sessions, creating personalized treatment plans, and supporting mental health, relationship counseling, and trauma recovery. The psychotherapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain detailed records for effective client care.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in Psychology and Mental Health expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of psychological issues.
  • Strong Counseling and Relationship Counseling skills to provide effective therapeutic interventions for individuals and groups.
  • Knowledge or experience in Medicine as it relates to mental health and trauma care is preferred.
  • Current licensure as a PLPC, LMSW, LPC, or LCSW is required.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, including military personnel and trauma survivors.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care approaches.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
