The Spine Hospital of Louisiana is seeking a detail‑oriented Surgery Scheduler to play a key role in coordinating surgical procedures for patients, surgeons, and clinical teams. This position serves as a central point of communication, ensuring schedules are accurate, resources are aligned, and patients receive a clear, positive experience throughout the scheduling process.

• Clinic-based, non-bedside role supporting surgical care
• Consistent daytime schedule
• Collaborative work with surgeons and clinical teams
• Opportunity to develop expertise in surgical scheduling and coding

• Schedule surgical procedures to ensure efficient use of operating rooms and resources
• Coordinate schedules for multiple surgeons and clinical teams
• Collect and verify clinical and coding information required for scheduling
• Apply working knowledge of ICD‑10 and CPT coding, particularly for spine procedures
• Communicate clearly with patients, physicians, and internal department

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience in medical scheduling
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills
• Proficiency with computers and scheduling software

• Experience with Meditech
• Knowledge of surgical or spine-related procedures and coding

Location: 10105 Park Rowe Circle, Baton Rouge, LA 70810

Schedule: Monday - Friday. Times may vary between 7:00 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m.
