OverviewThe Spine Hospital of Louisiana is seeking a detail‑oriented Surgery Scheduler to play a key role in coordinating surgical procedures for patients, surgeons, and clinical teams. This position serves as a central point of communication, ensuring schedules are accurate, resources are aligned, and patients receive a clear, positive experience throughout the scheduling process.

- Coordinate schedules for multiple surgeons and clinical teams
- Collect and verify clinical and coding information required for scheduling
- Apply working knowledge of ICD‑10 and CPT coding, particularly for spine procedures
- Communicate clearly with patients, physicians, and internal department
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in medical scheduling
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills
- Proficiency with computers and scheduling software
- Experience with Meditech
- Knowledge of surgical or spine-related procedures and coding
Location: 10105 Park Rowe Circle, Baton Rouge, LA 70810
Schedule: Monday - Friday. Times may vary between 7:00 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m.
