Recreation Therapist-PRN

What We're Looking For

• Ready to inspire wellness through purposeful play and healing?
• Passionate about improving patients' quality of life through recreation and therapy
• Minimum of one year of experience in a medical rehabilitation setting
• Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy required
• Certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or eligibility within six months of hire strongly preferred
• Chauffeur's license preferred

• Assess patients' functional performance levels and develop individualized recreational therapy plans based on interdisciplinary team input and established program standards.
• Implement therapeutic recreational activities to promote patient rehabilitation.
• Evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Ensure therapeutic interventions are appropriate for the age population served and aligned with departmental scope of service.
