What We're Looking For- A compassionate and skilled clinician with a passion for helping patients overcome speech and communication challenges.
- Experience in evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to meet the needs of diverse age populations.
- Clinical experience in speech-language pathology preferred.
- Louisiana State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient safety standards.
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment programs.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.

- As a Speech Therapist, you will complete patient assessments and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide patient and family education, including home programs and adaptive strategies.
- Document care provided in accordance with departmental standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support comprehensive patient care and discharge planning.
- Participate in continuing education, departmental initiatives, and staff training.
- Contribute to performance improvement and process enhancement efforts.

Requirements
- La license and CCCs, knowledge and experience in acute and post-acute care evaluation and treatment preferred.
- Ability to independently perform and interpret modified barium swallow studies.
