We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to play a key role in strengthening our brand by delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our providers.   • Patient Care:
    • Taking and recording vital signs:
      This includes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration.
    • Relaying information to MD.
    • Assisting with medical procedures:
      This might involve assisting with examinations or other procedures.
    • Assessing patient condition:
      Observing for changes and reporting any concerns to the physician.
    • Providing patient education:
      Explaining treatments, self-care instructions, and infection precautions.
    • Patient wound care
    • Assisting patients in & out of clinic
  • Documentation and Record Keeping:
    • Maintaining accurate patient records:
      This includes medical histories, treatments, and progress notes, prescriptions, patient education.
    • Entering data into electronic health records (EHRs):
      Ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. New patient paperwork, sending/receiving clearances.
    • Proficient with patient pictures for before & after treatments
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborating with medical staff respectfully.
    • Working with physicians, other nurses, and support staff to coordinate care.
    • Communicating with patients and their families:
      Explaining procedures, answering questions, phone calls and providing emotional support.
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Ordering and managing supplies:
      Ensuring the clinic has the necessary materials for patient care (i.e. garments, medications, supplies). Stocking rooms frequently.
    • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment:
      Ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met.
    • Assisting Nurse Practitioner with injectables (i.e. botox, fillers), taking pictures prior to treatments, topical numbing.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
  • Medical Assistant training program
Preferred Education or Experience
  • Certified Medical Assistant
  • Preferably experience in hospital or aesthetics
Scheduling Requirements
  • Monday through Friday set schedule
  • Some Saturday availability required
