We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to play a key role in strengthening our brand by delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our providers. - Patient Care:
- Taking and recording vital signs:
This includes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration. - Relaying information to MD.
- Assisting with medical procedures:
This might involve assisting with examinations or other procedures. - Assessing patient condition:
Observing for changes and reporting any concerns to the physician. - Providing patient education:
Explaining treatments, self-care instructions, and infection precautions. - Patient wound care
- Assisting patients in & out of clinic
- Taking and recording vital signs:
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintaining accurate patient records:
This includes medical histories, treatments, and progress notes, prescriptions, patient education. - Entering data into electronic health records (EHRs):
Ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. New patient paperwork, sending/receiving clearances. - Proficient with patient pictures for before & after treatments
- Maintaining accurate patient records:
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborating with medical staff respectfully.
- Working with physicians, other nurses, and support staff to coordinate care.
- Communicating with patients and their families:
Explaining procedures, answering questions, phone calls and providing emotional support.
- Other Responsibilities:
- Ordering and managing supplies:
Ensuring the clinic has the necessary materials for patient care (i.e. garments, medications, supplies). Stocking rooms frequently. - Maintaining a clean and organized work environment:
Ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met. - Assisting Nurse Practitioner with injectables (i.e. botox, fillers), taking pictures prior to treatments, topical numbing.
- Ordering and managing supplies:
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Medical Assistant training program
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Preferably experience in hospital or aesthetics
- Monday through Friday set schedule
- Some Saturday availability required
