Responsible for performing all duties according to the company policies, procedures, and internal controls. Observe slot play, process jackpots, correct minor machine malfunctions, and maintain patron relations. Provide a safe environment for guests and team members and deliver outstanding guest service.
Essential Functions- Participate in departmental and company meetings.
- Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
- Efficiently correct malfunctions of the gaming devices and report them in a timely manner.
- Assume overall responsibility for the operations of the slot department during shift.
- Understand and use casino tracking programs; use computers to complete reports and look up player information.
- Ensure all slot reports are legible and submitted timely.
- Ensure team members on shift follow all department rules, regulations, and policies.
- Effectively report all areas of opportunity for team member coaching and training.
- Accurately calculate and monitor all guest jackpots.
- Observe all slot play and report findings in a timely and accurate manner.
- Answer questions about game rules and casino policies.
- Complete all reporting in compliance with internal controls and department policies & procedures.
- Know guest alcohol limitations and company policy regarding limitations.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Handle routine guest complaints and incidents, resolving them to maintain positive relationships.
- Immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred.
- 2 years of slot attendant experience, required.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, guest service, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and presence with ability to interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
