Join Arcadis as a Stormwater Engineer and help design sustainable drainage solutions across the southeast United States. Work under the direction of the Senior Stormwater Engineer to deliver innovative projects for our Mobility Business line.
Role DescriptionIn this position you will design numerous drainage and design‑build projects, including collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways, interstates, and bridge replacements. Responsibilities include roadway drainage design, bridge hydraulic studies, culvert design, closed drainage system design, post‑construction water quality structures, and erosion and sedimentation control.
Role AccountabilitiesUse your experience with software platforms such as Bentley’s Storm
CAD, Culvert Master, Flow Master, HEC‑RAS, HY8, ICPR, and SWMM to assist with the design and preparation of construction plans. Take initiative on new projects and challenges, balancing multiple assignments to meet project deadlines.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Preferred: Prior experience with drainage design.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Hands‑on experience with software platforms such as Bentley’s Storm
CAD, Culvert Master, Flow Master, Pond Pack, HEC‑RAS, HEC‑MS, HY8, ICPR, and/or SWMM.

Benefits& Salary

The salary range is $52,000 – $78,000, adjusted for experience, education, and location.
