• Perform routine electrical maintenance on generators, switch gear, circuit breakers, and 24V control cabinets.
• Troubleshoot and repair 3‑phase power systems, wiring, and generator controls.
• Diagnose faults in electrical panels, motor controls, and 24V systems.
• Work with mechanical teams on equipment swaps and alternator repairs.
• Use test equipment like multimeters and meggers to validate system function.
• Accurately log work orders and track time via mobile tools and apps.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Safely prepare, operate, and maintain a motor vehicle for company business.

• Profound knowledge of electrical power distribution and control systems design.
• Mechanical systems experience.
• Technical hands‑on experience or equivalent relevant experience.
• Hands‑on experience with PLC systems (Deep Sea Electronics and AcSELerator).
• Solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).

• 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience – preferably with generators, switch gear, or 24V controls.
• Proficiency in generator theory, AC/DC circuit theory, protection relays, and electrical troubleshooting practices.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Strong multitasking capabilities to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; pass MVR check.
• Attention to detail – thoroughness and conscientiousness in work.
• Computer skills – use computers, software applications, databases and automated systems.
• Flexibility – rotating on‑call schedule; availability to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Physical capability to be on your feet for multiple hours a day, climb ladders, and lift 50 lbs safely.
• Integrity – work efficiently and effectively with or without supervision.

• Hands‑on generator maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches), power meters, and backup systems.
• Prior U.S. Navy Electrical (EMN or ETN) experience a plus.
