Adjunct Faculty – Philosophy
Join Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) as an online instructor in the Division of Liberal Arts. This part‑time, unclassified adjunct position requires a master’s degree in philosophy or an equivalent degree with 18 graduate semester hours in philosophy.
Duties and Responsibilities- Teach courses as assigned, including evening, weekend, online and dual enrollment courses as needed.
- Support the institution’s mission and vision while adhering to the Faculty Handbook and college‑wide policies.
- Maintain currency in the teaching discipline.
- Report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair.
- Master’s degree in philosophy or a master’s degree in any discipline with 18 graduate semester hours in philosophy.
- Previous college‑level teaching experience.
