Overview
Interdisciplinary Studies Part-Time Academic advisors work collaboratively with other advisors, the Interdisciplinary Studies Director, department chairs, university staff, and other campus colleagues to support incoming and continuing students, both campus-based and online. The primary role will be to assist with recruitment, advising, and monitoring students by helping them understand curriculum requirements, university policies and procedures, and the successful path to degree completion.
Responsibilities may include outreach to current students, using university resources to find students, and providing data, records, and reports upon request from supervisors. Part-time advisors report to the Interdisciplinary Studies Program Director.
