Position Summary
The Safety Representative is responsible for leading and implementing the Company and project‑specific safety programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and incident‑free work environment. This role serves as the on‑site safety leader for assigned projects and partners with project management, field leadership, and trade partners to promote a proactive safety culture. The Safety Representative is typically assigned to a specific project and reports to the Safety Manager and/or Director of Safety.
Qualifications- 3–5 years of construction experience, preferably with a focus on safety
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations (OSHA knowledge required)
- Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement effective corrective measures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and hold teams accountable in a professional manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or ability to obtain)

- Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands and arms to handle materials and operate equipment
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
- Required to communicate clearly and effectively in person and via phone
- Specific vision abilities include viewing computer monitors and identifying potential jobsite hazards
- Exposure to varying weather conditions
- Exposure to dust, dirt, grease, paint fumes, chemicals, noise, and vibration
- Periodic exposure to high elevations and heavy equipment
While most documentation and reporting work is completed during normal business hours, jobsite presence is required.
