OverviewAt Jacobs, we’re challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world’s most critical problems. This role focuses on designing, engineering, and executing construction of state‑of‑the‑art data center facilities. You will lead daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site while ensuring the right materials, equipment, and people are present to get the job done safely and on schedule.
Responsibilities• Lead daily scheduling, planning, and coordination for data center construction projects.
• Ensure safety, health, and environmental standards are met and maintained.
• Build and nurture effective teams, guiding team members toward their goals.
• Coordinate with owners, designers, and contractors to facilitate walk‑downs, meetings, and reviews.
• Manage quality and constructability reviews, top‑off processes, punch list completion, and final walk‑downs.
- At least 10 years of construction site experience.
- At least 10 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of pre‑design and pre‑construction processes, building systems/components, contract management, project delivery methods, team building, and client relationship building.
- Experience with pharma, GMP facilities, or clean rooms.
- Collaboration in planning, design, construction, and commissioning.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam.
- Ability to create estimates, client presentations, timelines, staffing plans, and construction execution plans.
- Facilitate and coordinate walk‑downs and meetings with owners and designers.
- Conduct constructability reviews.
- Lead client and construction meetings.
- Multidiscipline knowledge (Mechanical, Electrical, IC, CSA).
- Safety leadership, including JHA revision and SPA daily signed‑off permits.
- Experience with QA construction.
- Turn‑over process including TOPs, punch list, and walk‑downs with contractors and owners.
