We are actively seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman to join our growing team in the Baton Rouge metro area. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for managing paving crews, operating heavy equipment, and delivering high‑quality asphalt paving projects safely and efficiently.

• Lead and manage a crew of operators and skilled craftsmen
• Ensure daily production goals are met while maintaining quality standards
• Coordinate jobsite workflow to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime
• Maintain strong communication between crew members, plant personnel, and management

• Operate and oversee the use of:
  • Asphalt paver
  • Roller
  • Skid steer
  • Shuttle buggy
  • Rubber‑tire backhoe
  • Other related paving equipment
• Ensure high‑quality paving results daily
• Monitor line, grade, and overall finish quality
• Track yield and measure production daily
• Order asphalt from the plant as needed

• Ensure the safety of all employees and the public
• Enforce all safety initiatives, policies, and procedures
• Maintain OSHA‑compliant jobsite practices
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment

• Perform hands‑on equipment operation when necessary
• Assist with other jobsite responsibilities as needed
• Work outdoors in varying and extreme weather conditions

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Asphalt Paving Foreman
• At least 5 years of experience in road construction or heavy construction
• Proven ability to operate paving and support equipment proficiently and safely
• Strong knowledge of asphalt production, yield tracking, and quality control
• Experience working outdoors in extreme weather conditions
• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Dependable transportation
• High school diploma or GED

• Strong leadership and crew management skills
• Deep understanding of paving line and grade control
• Commitment to jobsite safety and production efficiency
• Ability to manage scheduling, asphalt ordering, and daily reporting
• High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
