Join EMR – A Global Leader in RecyclingAre you ready to take your career to the next level? EMR USA is seeking an experienced and driven Buyer/Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in the thriving scrap metal industry, build strong client relationships, and develop your expertise in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
What You’ll Do- Purchase and Negotiate:
Use your industry expertise to secure the best prices for scrap metal. - Build Relationships:
Maintain and grow existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities. - Inspect Materials:
Assess quality, grade, and value of scrap metal to ensure optimal pricing. - Manage Transactions:
Write customer scale tickets and assist with weighing materials. - Drive Business Growth:
Stay ahead of market trends, analyze competitors, and strategize for success. - Collaborate:
Work closely with inventory control and other departments to maintain seamless operations.
- Industry Expertise:
At least 3 years of experience in the scrap metal industry, with a solid understanding of how metals are valued and processed. - Negotiation
Skills:
Proven ability to secure deals and maintain competitive pricing. - Customer Service Excellence: A passion for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel. - Team-Oriented:
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous sales experience is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
