Sr. Contracts Administrator

Job Overview The Sr. Contracts Administrator will focus on ensuring compliance with corporate policies, federal and state regulations, and client requirements as defined by our contract terms. They will work directly with business unit attorneys, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and administering the business aspects of assigned contracts.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
  • Lead on complex contracts of moderate risk.
  • Apply knowledge of FAR and agency‑specific regulations to support compliance.
  • Prepare and review NDAs and teaming agreements.
  • Perform detailed review of solicitations, contracts, work orders, and other agreements to flag risk and compliance issues, suggest edits, coordinate reviews with corporate groups, and assist in pricing strategy.
  • Advise company management on risk and compliance issues.
  • Obtain insurance certificates and financial guarantees (bonds, letters of credit, etc.) as required.
  • Support project management staff in complying with contractual requirements through the project lifecycle.
  • Review project setup documentation to ensure a properly reviewed, approved, and executed contract is in place and setup information is consistent with contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate with client contract administration staff to facilitate contract and project authorizations and amendments, negotiate contract clauses and budgets, and respond to client concerns.
  • Coordinate with other corporate departments to address contractual issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including proposal preparation, contract review, negotiation, monitoring, close‑out, indirect rate adjustments, audits, etc.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5‑10 years of related experience.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency contingent on duties and project demands.
  • Support for disaster preparedness, response, and recovery is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience managing state and local government agency contracts, including those funded by federal grant programs.
  • Previous experience managing commercial contracts, including redlining and negotiating legal terms and conditions.
  • Experience on the selling side vs. the purchasing side of contract administration.
  • Team player.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to manage several deadlines simultaneously.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $110,000–$125,000 per year. Compensation depends on several factors including experience, education, key skills, geographic location, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
