Overview
BGIS is seeking a Facility Services Coordinator to join the team in Baton Rouge, LA. This onsite role supports facility management services for clients and coordinates reception, visitor management, mail, deliveries, and related administrative duties. The organization works with partner companies to source qualified talent for open roles. The position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers.

Responsibilities- Meet and greet clients and visitors; act as the first point of contact for incoming phone queries and manage requests and room bookings as part of the virtual service center model, including lodging work requests in the internal system.
- Assist the internal site management team as a conduit for client and other requests.
- Assist with visitor/contractor escorts and instruction/supervision as required.
- Manage the collection and distribution of internal and external mail and courier deliveries.
- Manage the delivery of consumables throughout the refresh areas.
- Support in providing building access cards to staff and contractors.
- Support meeting room requirements (e.g., room reconfigurations and catering provisions).
- Administrative duties as required; invoicing receipting and reconciliation; data entry and records management; work order management; maintain distribution lists.
- Other duties: backup for receptionist during lunch and PTO; submit and monitor work orders with landlord; process Fed Ex packages; submit and monitor work orders for Lab building; perform 1st tier support for printer and plotter issues; perform scheduled PM checks of First Aid Kits, AEDs and Fire Extinguishers.
- Minimum
Education Required:
High School/GED. - Experience/
Qualifications:
Strong demonstrated experience in a Customer Service Center environment; understanding of customer service principles; experience working with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels of an organization; strong professional telephone manner (listening, questioning, empathy, clear client outcomes, professionalism); attention to detail and grammar; proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and internet; good keyboard skills, speed and accuracy; ability to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/innovative approach to problems. - HSE policies and procedures are met and maintained by all stakeholders.
