Job Description

We are seeking a professional and reliable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact at our Baton Rouge office. As the face of Every Word Code, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations, greeting visitors, handling calls, and providing general administrative support to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace experience.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls and emails
  • Maintain front desk security and follow office access procedures
  • Schedule appointments and manage meeting room calendars
  • Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and correspondence
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to staff as needed
  • Assist with onboarding processes for new hires and visitors
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative or front desk role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain composed under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
