Mechanical Fitter (Full Training into Heavy Plant)

£35,000 - £39,500 + Full Training + Manufacturer Specific Training + Plentiful Premium Overtime + Quarterly Bonus + Progression

Workshop based – commutable from West Lothian, Bathgate, Glasgow, Airdrie, Larkhall, Carluke, Edinburgh, Livingston, Falkirk, and surrounding areas.

We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our nationwide workshops, delivering training into the heavy plant industry.

• Salary: £35,000 - £39,500 per annum
• Full training including manufacturer courses
• Plentiful premium overtime (x1.5) and quarterly bonus
• Progression opportunities within the company
• Working hours:
  
  Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm

• Perform service, maintenance and diagnostics on a range of heavy plant equipment
• Carry out inspections and support other workshop activities
• Contribute to a high‑performing team and meet daily targets

• Mechanical background – including ex‑REME, vehicle technicians, forklift, or similar experience
• Willingness to gain full training into the heavy plant industry
• Good understanding of engine and mechanical systems
