Our modern 25‑metre swimming pool is complemented by a relaxing sauna, steam room and viewing gallery. There is also a separate teaching pool, providing the ideal setting for our youngest Learn to Swim participants to build confidence and develop essential water skills.

As Duty Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our daily operations, with a particular focus on all things leisure centre. That includes managing the facility, programming, and staff — ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards.

• Leading and supporting the team, ensuring excellent service delivery and safety
• Supporting the wider facility and deputising for the Area Manager when needed
• Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all our visitors

• 1‑2 years supervisory experience
• A passion for providing outstanding customer service and team leadership
• Successful study to HNC level or equivalent level in work experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good administrative skills with the ability to write reports & letters
• Desirable:
• IOSH Managing Safely
• First Aid at Work
• Experience in budget management, health and safety audits, and programme planning
• Familiarity with leisure management systems
