To effectively coordinate the business resources (sub-contractors) to fulfil the Open Reach tree cutting contract safely, in line with all regulatory checks and restrictions, on time and to an agreeable accepted standard as set by the business management and the client whilst maximising productivity and utilisation and maintaining job profitability.
As a Contract Coordinator you will- Assist wider team to effectively plan tree cutting work throughout the full UK
- Manage the client specific electronic business portal to obtain work requirements.
- Review provided work pack documentation.
- Prioritise job assignment and assign appropriate resources according to competence and geography.
- Prepare and submit licensing applications to local authorities and follow through appropriately.
- Ensure all safety, operational and regulatory considerations are addressed prior to commencement of works.
- Ensure work packs provide full and clear information & instruction for the scheduled works.
- Liaise with sub-contractor to distribute and allocate work.
- Collate completed work information and process data on appropriate systems in a timely manner
- Ensure client jobs are managed from start to finish maintaining regular communication and providing updates to client.
- Produce meaningful contract and client reports.
- Maintain good client relations.
- Any other tasks or responsibilities required by management or identified during the development of the role.
- Tree cutting & telecoms knowledge. (desirable)
- Good national geographic knowledge.
- Planning experience
- Excellent IT skills including an adept knowledge of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word & Excel
