The WorkIn this role, you will be responsible for reviewing detail design drawings, conducting installations and inspections of the AEGIS DDG-51 Class Ship combat system spaces, equipment and related support systems, e.g., demineralized cooling water, chilled water, sea water, electronic dry air, PAO, 60 Hz, 400 Hz, and related systems.
- Will provide liaison with the Ship Integration and Test engineering and program personnel to facilitate Technical Data Package product development delivery to IWS 1SI and PMS
400D. - Will provide combat system space design liaison assistance/resolution to Bath Iron Works Lead Yard Services Detail Design, Planning Yard Design and Field Engineering Groups related to combat system equipment/support systems design, maintenance and operational requirements.
- Will provide support to the AEGIS Test Team in support system areas.

Basic Qualifications- Must be able to read and interpret multiple kinds of drawings and schematics (piping, ventilation, electrical).
- Proven work experience finding solutions to challenging issues while under pressure.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required, which requires ship.
- Position requires frequent work in shipyard industrial environments as well as on naval vessels, both underway and in port.
- Requires the physical ability to traverse steep ladders and stairs, as well as working in confined spaces, is a requirement.
- Travel required in support of AEGIS availabilities conducted at locations outside Bath.
- 25-35% travel can be expected.
- Experience with combat system spaces, equipment and related support systems.
- Must be a demonstrated team player.
- Aptitude to read and comprehend military specifications for combat systems installations.
- Ability to work with associated contractors, Navy crew members and other government personnel.
- Proven experience working in a dynamic environment that requires change on extremely short notice.

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $57,500 - $101,430. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate s final work location. The salary information is a general guideline and factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education/training, key skills, market and business considerations influence offers.
