Salary: £50,000 basic + company car or car allowance

The RoleWe are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth within the private sector. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and promoting the company’s portfolio of managed IT and cloud solutions. This is a hands‑on sales role with full responsibility for the sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, supported by a forward‑thinking, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and target private sector organisations that can benefit from managed IT and Microsoft cloud solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C‑level and senior IT decision‑makers.
- Conduct consultative sales meetings and presentations, demonstrating the company’s value proposition.
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pipeline management, proposal creation, negotiation, and closure.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth handover and implementation of new clients.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs, contributing to company growth.
- Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends, competitor activity, and Microsoft technologies to provide informed guidance to clients.
- Proven experience selling managed services, IT solutions, or Microsoft-based solutions into private sector clients working for an MSP essential.
- Strong consultative sales skills with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills at all levels.
- Self‑motivated, organised, and able to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
- Ability to travel locally for client meetings (company car / allowance provided).
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, cloud services, and MSP delivery models is highly desirable.
- £50,000 basic salary + company car or car allowance
