Seasonal Sales Assistant - Retail Team

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Retail Team as a Seasonal Sales Assistant, at the prestigious Roman Baths in Bath. We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced sales assistants, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and encouraging sales in a fast‑passed and truly unique environment. We have three posts available.

This will be a fixed‐term contract from 1st June 2026 to 4th October 2026.

• Provide excellent customer sales service by employing active selling techniques, tidying and stock replenishment.

• Friendly manner and excellent customer care.
• High standard of personal presentation with strong communication and active‑selling skills.
• Experience operating tills – processing cash and credit card sales.
• Experience working in a busy customer‑facing role (helpful).
• Interest in history (helpful).
• Ability to carry stock; aware that manual handling is part of the role.

• EPOS till training.
• Site related training.
• Staff discount.

Full training and a uniform will be provided.
