Restaurant​/F&B Manager

Location: Bath, Somerset
Salary: £42,000–£45,000 per year (DOE) + monthly service charge (~£2,000 per year) + management bonus
Hours: Full-time | Mix of day, evening and weekend shifts

With a main dining room offering seasonal, carefully executed dishes, and a more relaxed dining space, the hotel has built a long‑standing reputation for quality, comfort, and memorable guest experiences.

We’re seeking a highly professional and engaging Restaurant Manager to lead the front‑of‑house team and oversee service across both dining outlets. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the property’s excellent reputation, delivering warm, attentive service and ensuring that every guest experience is consistently exceptional.

• Lead and inspire the restaurant team across all dining areas
• Maintain consistently high standards of service and guest care
• Develop strong menu knowledge and confidently support guest recommendations
• Recruit, train, and mentor team members, embedding a strong service culture
• Oversee opening and closing procedures and daily operational management
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and senior management to deliver seamless service
• Support rota planning, labour management, and operational efficiency
• Handle guest feedback professionally, ensuring proactive service recovery

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or senior FOH leader in a high‑quality hotel or restaurant
• Comfortable managing both fine‑dining and casual dining operations
• Warm, confident communicator with a strong guest‑focused approach
• Organised, proactive, and hands‑on, with flexibility to work mixed shifts
• Passionate about hospitality, food, wine, and team development
• Able to foster a positive, collaborative culture across all departments

£42,000–£45,000 per year (experience‑dependent)
