Quality Inspector - Day Shift

Overview

Quality Inspector. Workshop based, commutable from Frome, Chippenham, Bristol, Keynsham, Trowbridge and Yate.

Salary: £30,000-£32,500 + Monday to Friday, Day Shift Pattern (7:30am-4pm). Benefits include regular training opportunities, holiday entitlement, optional paid overtime, company pension and healthcare.

This is a varied role inspecting small precision components for a range of markets, using a variety of inspection devices and gauges, with processes that differ day to day.

• Inspection of customer parts – First off and Final
• Use of various measurement equipment – CMM, micrometers, verniers, etc.
• Working from engineering drawings
• Working a day shift pattern, Monday to Friday

• Quality Inspector / Quality Engineer / APQP Technician / CMM Programmer / Quality Technician or similar experience
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings
• Experience with CMM systems
• Knowledge of ISO standards
