Role Overview:

Our Head Housekeeper will always be motivated and highly engaged to provide personalised “world class” customer care and service to all guests, internal team members & clients, and directors in line with Our Brand Standards and Procedures. Ensuring every Guest request is completed promptly and decisively, aspiring to make the impossible, possible!

As part of the senior leadership team, this highly visible role will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of our continuously evolving housekeeping brand standards. Working closely with the Hotel Manager & Operations Manager, this position will be expected to lead on the implementation and execution of the housekeeping strategy.

This role will include operational shift coverage across a seven-day senior duty management rota. Working at properties across our England Hotels may also be required from time to time.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of exceptional cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction targets.

  • Maintain strong collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and Sales to support maintenance, VIP visits, and show rounds.

  • Manage departmental budgets, payroll, productivity, and cost-control measures.

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing, multi-skilled housekeeping team.

  • Oversee performance management, wellbeing, and compliance with People & Culture policies.

  • Ensure all Health & Safety, Fire Safety, COSHH, and hygiene standards are consistently met.

  • Drive continuous improvement through process alignment, efficiency initiatives, and time-in-motion reviews.

  • Lead daily and weekly briefings to ensure consistent service delivery and operational readiness.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for presentation.

  • Able to lead, coach, and inspire a guest-centric team culture.

  • Comfortable analysing data and translating strategy into practical action.

  • Adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.

  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety and housekeeping best practice.

  • Driven by quality, efficiency, and delivering memorable guest experiences
