The Role of a Chef de Partie

You will join a brigade who are committed to serving beautiful food to our customers. Within an organisation that is focussed on quality and forging exceptional experiences for our customers. You will be a dynamic chef who can lead a team and share your passion, experience, and knowledge. You must be comfortable with both taking and giving direction.

We are looking for someone who loves food and takes pride in their craft, inspiring others to progress in their careers.

You must be able to lead by example and run the kitchen in the chef’s absence to ensure our guests always have a consistent journey. You will be confident working in a busy kitchen and experienced in producing food of a high quality.

This will be a challenging role that will help to hone your managerial qualities whilst still giving you plenty of time for cooking. Our Head Chef shares bold ambitions for the property, and you will join at an exciting time.

The Gainsborough Bath Spa is a luxurious 100‑bedroom hotel originally built in the 1800s, occupying two Grade II Listed buildings with distinguished Georgian and Victorian façades.
