Peridot Search is proud to be partnering with a leading international consumer business to appoint a commercially minded and technically strong Group Tax Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the global tax function in a fast-paced, high-growth company known for innovation and bold thinking.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you’ll lead the tax agenda across a complex, international structure. From compliance and reporting to strategic planning and risk management, you’ll play a key role in shaping a tax function fit for scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global corporate tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings
• Manage UK tax returns in-house; coordinate international submissions via local advisors
• Support tax provisioning and disclosures as part of the Group’s financial reporting
• Maintain and evolve the Group’s Transfer Pricing policy
• Advise on VAT and indirect taxes; manage tax risks and support audits
• Drive improvements to the Group’s tax structure in line with strategic growth

About You

• Professionally qualified (e.g. CTA, ACA, ATT) with strong technical tax expertise
• Experience in a fast-moving, international environment (consumer or retail exposure is a plus)
• A hands-on, proactive approach with strong commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to influence across the business
