Position: Financial Planning Administrator - Hybrid Working

We are partnering with a highly respected, fully independent financial planning practice renowned for delivering personalised, high-quality advice. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, close-knit team where you can make a tangible difference to client outcomes and play a visible role in the continued growth and success of the business.

The firm places genuine value on collaboration and individual contribution rather than scale. Your work will be recognised, your ideas encouraged, and your professional development actively supported. If you thrive in an environment where every team member matters and where your input directly shapes client advice, this role could be an excellent fit.

The Role

As an IFA Administrator, you will provide vital support to a small team of Senior Financial Planners, helping to ensure clients receive a consistently high standard of service. Working closely with both Planners and Paraplanners, you will gain broad exposure across the business within a supportive and development-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Planners and clients, acting as a trusted point of contact
  • Collaborate closely with Paraplanners to deliver efficient, accurate administration that enhances the client experience
  • Prepare for and follow up on client meetings, ensuring all documentation and records are complete and accurate
  • Assist with scheduling client reviews, ensuring they are delivered in line with service and compliance standards
  • Manage post-meeting administration, including Letters of Authority and provider submissions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
  • Maintain and develop industry knowledge through ongoing study and relevant training or workshops
The Ideal Candidate
  • At least a year’s administrative experience within a financial planning or IFA environment
  • Proactive, highly organised, and detail-focused
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • CII qualifications are desirable but not essential; full support for further professional development will be provided
  • Enthusiastic about working in a smaller practice where individual contribution has a direct impact
Why Join
  • Join a boutique, independent firm where your work directly influences client outcomes
  • Be part of a collaborative, close-knit team that values visibility, support, and shared success
  • Access genuine progression opportunities into technical or advisory roles as the business grows
Package
  • Salary up to £35,000
  • Annual discretionary bonus and company benefits

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a respected, fully independent financial planning practice where your contribution truly makes a difference.
