YTL Construction UK (Infrastructure) is embarking on its most ambitious capital delivery programme to date, and we’re looking for a Senior Network Modeller (Supply) with appreciable relevant experience to join our Modelling team.

What you'll do
  • Build new models and use existing models to appraise the supply to new development proposals and capital schemes, making recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Undertake hydraulic studies to prepare outline solutions.
  • Contribute to leakage reduction initiatives by modelling pressure reduction and system optimisation, and produce leakage‑related reports.
  • Write reports, present projects and manage projects, including external consultant‑led studies.
  • Analyse data using GIS (Geographic Information Systems), telemetry and meter‑based systems and Excel.
  • Mentor and train junior staff entering the discipline.
What you’ll need

You should be a Supply Modeller with time‑served experience in supply modelling, ideally using Infoworks WS Pro.

  • A degree, preferably in a scientific or mathematical subject.
  • Chartered status or working towards membership to an appropriate professional institution (e.g., CIWEM or ICE).
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge of associated software (Excel, GIS, telemetry, loggers and related systems).
  • Sound report‑writing and the ability to communicate complex issues to team members and all relevant stakeholders, including delivering presentations.
  • Team‑working skills and the ability to contribute positively to the development of supply modelling within the team and the wider business.
