Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2026. Salary – SCP 5-6 (£24,790 - £25,183 full time equivalent). Actual Salary £15,193 - £15,678. Hourly rate of pay – £12.85 - £13.05. 25.75 hours per week, term time plus 2 insets.

The children, staff and Governors of Bath Easton Church School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to play an integral part in supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a thriving school environment. The post will be for 25.75 hours spread across five days.

We are looking for:
  • An enthusiastic and fun‑loving SEN teaching assistant with possible experience of working with individual children before.
  • Someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the school team.
  • Someone with a kind and caring personality that enjoys supporting children to help them try and achieve their aims and fulfil their dreams.
