Surveying Project Manager

Overview

A client within the Public Sector based in Southwest of England is recruiting a Surveying Project Manager for their Complex Works team. The role is full‑time, permanent and requires experience within a local authority housing environment.

• Ownership of larger Damp and Mould cases, HHSRS cases and complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Surveying and identifying building defects through correct building pathology and testing.
• Taking ownership of cases from site visit through to project completion, including HHSRS triage.
• Completing detailed reports and specifications, for example to support Section 20 notices and Damp and Mould/disrepair claims.
• External stakeholder engagement with Local Authorities and internal departments to ensure works are completed to standard.

• Proven track record in delivering/managing multiple technical building projects.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and best practice, including CDM.
• Knowledge of HHSRS risks and relevant legislation/compliance.

• Experience of Planned Works or Void Delivery within Social Housing.
• Additional qualifications such as CSTDB or fire‑related fields.
• H&S qualifications such as IOSH, NCRQ, etc.

£47,793 p/a plus comprehensive benefits.
