Role OverviewWe are looking for a warm, and efficient School Receptionist to manage our front office. As the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and secure school environment.
Responsibilities- Front Office Management:
Greeting parents, students, and visitors with a helpful and positive attitude. - Student Support:
Assist students who come to the office (e.g., late arrivals, early dismissals, calling home, or administering First Aid). - Safety & Security:
Strictly enforce security procedures by verifying visitor IDs, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining the visitor sign‑in system. - Monitoring:
Monitor the main entrance via security cameras and control buzz‑in entry systems. - Emergency Protocols:
Assist administration during fire drills, lockdowns, and other emergency situations. - Communication & Attendance:
Answer a high volume of calls, answer questions regarding school events/schedules, and route calls to appropriate staff or voicemail. - Attendance:
Assist in tracking daily student attendance, entering data into the MIS system, and calling parents to verify absences. - Administrative Duties:
Maintain confidential student files and records in compliance with school policy. - Correspondence:
Distribute mail, packages, and internal memos to teachers and staff. - First Aid Support:
Provide minor first aid support (e.g., handing out ice packs).
