Document Controller Rail​/Civil

Salary: £25k-£30k

Location: Somerset

We are currently looking for a Document Controller to join our team on a fixed-term contract until August 2020, with the potential for a prolonged contract extension for the right candidate.

• Coordinate all activities related to document control, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
• Control information flow through Asite and THEMIS.
• Upload drawings and project documentation onto Asite and THEMIS.
• File hard copy documents appropriately and maintain drawing and document registers.
• Batch print drawings.
• Ensure hard copy documents are up-to-date and mirrored on Asite.
• Perform routine document management tasks such as release, publishing, technical queries, transmittals, filing, and copying.
• Add new users and companies to the system, and manage user access rights.
• Act as the focal point for all document management matters within the team.
• Issue and receive controlled documentation, log issues, and create electronic transmittals.
• Compile reports and handle reception duties, including typing, copying, scanning, filing, and arranging meetings.

• Previous experience as a Document Controller in Rail, Civil, Construction, or similar industries.
• Knowledge of document control software.
