A well established and successful accountancy practice based in Midsomer Norton is looking for an Audit and Accounts Manager to join their team as right hand support to the firm's directors. You will have a mixed role with significant involvement with audit, but also across year end accounts, tax, etc., managing the delivery services to a wide range of the firm's clients as a key addition.

Based in Midsomer Norton the firm has developed an excellent reputation across Somerset and further afield with wide ranging industry sector clients across wide ranging turnovers and size. There will be the opportunity to carve a truly influential role supporting the firm's directors as a key managerial hire within this growing firm.

Joining their Midsomer Norton offices as an Audit and Accounts Manager, reporting directly to the firm's director group you will be responsible for managing the delivery of audit and year-end accountancy and tax services across a wide-ranging portfolio of sectors and turnovers, encompassing sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, OMBs, SMEs and other clients. You will manage teams and individuals to deliver this work, provide coaching and support to junior staff, review and finalise work, and prepare reports.

You will have a high commitment to quality and take responsibility for ensuring that the quality of service is maintained.

For this Audit and Accounts Manager role you will be ACA or ACCA qualified with a demonstrable career background gained within the accountancy practice sector. You will have experience providing services across audit, year-end accounts, tax, and wider provision to varied clients, having developed your career to the managerial level.
