Job Description
Design, implement, and sustain processes and systems that enhance safety, quality, and productivity. Focus on eliminating waste of time, money, materials, energy, and other commodities. Manage and track operations, and control performance improvement processes.
Industrial Engineer
Responsibilities- Prepare and distribute engineering data to ensure a complete transfer of information from design to manufacturing technicians promptly.
- Monitor and provide support to ensure products are manufactured economically and meet management goals and quality expectations. Analyze deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Review delivery projects for materials needed in manufacturing and ensure timely availability to maintain continuous production.
- Collaborate with leadership on equipment and tooling justifications and ensure received items meet acceptance criteria and are installed on schedule.
- Develop and implement process control and productivity improvement projects to enhance quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Assist production supervisors in troubleshooting process and quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing countermeasures.
- Write and assist in training for work instructions. Develop specifications for new equipment and support process qualification activities.
- Analyze plant layout for manufacturing flow improvements and assess labor content for process standards.
- Collaborate on technical solutions to manufacturing problems, ensuring solutions are thorough and align with organizational objectives.
- Apply statistical tools to complex problems and teach these tools to others.
- Take a leadership role in the Plant Safety Program.
- Experience in industrial engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in time studies and basic CAD.
- Knowledge of process improvement, Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing.
- Experience with statistical tools including DOE, Six Sigma, and SPC.
- A Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Four years of relevant experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in continuous process improvement.
- Experience in manufacturing environments, ideally in an industrial setting.
The work environment is in a manufacturing setting, which requires adherence to safety protocols and collaboration across various departments. The role involves working with equipment and technology to improve production processes.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Batesville, MS.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $96000.00/yr. Health, dental, 401k - benefits offered.
Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Batesville, MS.
