Education:
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; consideration will be given for comparable education, experience, and successful licensure.
Licensure:
Must obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the hiring state and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
– Preferred Qualifications
One or more of the following certifications may be required based on the position/unit or must be acquired within the department-required timeframe.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association or completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- LPN‑IV Certification completed prior or within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri.
- Other unit‑specific certifications as required.
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. regularly.
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
