Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Interventor (Financial Controller) to lead and oversee the company's financial planning, budget execution, and fiscal compliance processes. This key leadership role involves coordinating internal controls, financial forecasting, and strategic communication with internal and external stakeholders.
The Interventor will ensure that the company's financial operations are carried out with integrity, transparency, and efficiency, and that all regulatory and legal standards are met. This position requires a high level of analytical capability, strategic thinking, and leadership in guiding the financial health and governance of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of financial strategy, aligned with corporate objectives.
- Design, manage, and supervise the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads.
- Oversee financial forecasting, cash flow planning, and scenario analysis.
- Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, and legal frameworks.
- Monitor internal controls and risk management policies to safeguard assets and data integrity.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to executive leadership and investors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for optimization and cost-efficiency.
- Coordinate contract review and investment analysis from a financial compliance perspective.
- Maintain transparency and accountability through clear communication with stakeholders and board members.
- Proven experience as Financial Controller, Interventor, or similar leadership role in finance.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, IFRS or GAAP, and tax compliance.
- Experience with enterprise financial systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent financial certification preferred.
