_ The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with rollers, and a strong background in various aspects of concrete work. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of paving projects, contributing to the overall success of our construction endeavors.

Responsibilities

• Operate roller equipment to compact soil, asphalt, and concrete on construction sites.
• Collaborate with crew members to ensure proper paving and finishing of surfaces.
• Assist with the setup and operation of concrete mixers and pumps as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
• Support rebar installation and concrete forming activities as required.
• Utilize loaders and excavators for material handling and site preparation tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work efforts and address any issues that arise during operations.

Requirements

MUST BE OSHA 10 CERTIFIED (we do cover the course)

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically rollers, is essential.
• Familiarity with concrete mixing, paving, pumping, finishing, and forming techniques.
• Previous construction site experience preferred, demonstrating an understanding of site operations.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Experience operating loaders, excavators, dump trucks, and other commercial vehicles is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety regulations.
